About SubTrac

SubTrac is a subscription tracker that helps you keep track of all your recurring payments in one place. See your total monthly spend, get reminders before renewals, and never lose track of a subscription again.

Getting Started

  • Tap the + button to add a new subscription
  • Choose from 40+ popular services or add a custom one
  • Set the price, billing cycle, and next renewal date
  • Your dashboard will show your total monthly spend and upcoming renewals

How do I edit a subscription?

Tap on any subscription to view its details, then tap the edit button in the top right corner to modify any field.

How do I delete a subscription?

Swipe left on any subscription card to reveal the delete button. You can also long-press a subscription for more options.

Can I track subscriptions in different currencies?

Yes. Each subscription can have its own currency. SubTrac automatically converts everything to your base currency using live exchange rates.

How do I change my base currency?

Go to Settings and tap on "Base Currency" to choose from supported currencies. All totals will be recalculated automatically.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No, SubTrac works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to fetch the latest currency exchange rates.

Is my data backed up?

Your data is stored locally on your device. You can export your subscriptions as JSON or CSV from the Settings screen to back them up manually.

Is SubTrac free?

Yes, SubTrac is free to download and use with no ads or in-app purchases.

Troubleshooting

App is crashing or freezing

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app. Your data is stored locally, but we recommend exporting a backup first.

Currency conversion not working

Make sure you have an internet connection. Exchange rates are cached locally, so the app will use the last fetched rates when offline.

Notifications not appearing

Check that notifications are enabled for SubTrac in your device settings. Also verify your reminder preferences in the app's Settings screen.
