The brief
A fashion creative needed a portfolio as expressive and deliberate as the work in it, rather than a template with the images dropped in. The site had to carry a point of view, with typography, motion and layout all pulling in the same direction.
Decisions
- Galleries are dynamic, so the layout survives new work
- Personal work, client work and written pieces each have their own section, and new entries slot in without reworking the page around them.
- Motion is split by what it has to do
- GSAP handles scroll-triggered sequences and Framer Motion handles component transitions. The restraint was in the tuning: enough motion to feel alive, never so much that it upstages the work.
What it does
- Custom fonts and a bespoke visual identity
- Separate personal and client work galleries
- An articles section with featured imagery
- Responsive and design-first throughout
