The brief
MDP Experiences runs immersive, in-person games and team events. Their existing presence carried none of that energy, and for a business selling something memorable a flat website is a real liability. They needed a site that felt as considered as a night at one of their events, and that they could keep current themselves as new experiences launched.
Decisions
- The experiences are content, not markup
- Each experience lives as structured content, so the client adds, reorders or retires a game without a developer in the loop. That was the requirement behind the request, not a nice-to-have.
- Static, so there is nothing to maintain
- A static React and Vite build on a static host. No server, no database, no runtime to patch on a site whose job is to be up when someone searches for the company.
What it does
- A custom design system: bold brand colours and display type
- Signature experiences carried as the hero content
- Grain textures, sweep transitions and scroll-linked motion
- Responsive at every breakpoint
How it is built
- React, Vite and Tailwind CSS
